Here's where to go to register:

By the way, they have a pancake breakfast beginning at 7a!  Nothing fuels your tank like a stack of pancakes!

I might just give this a try.  Of course, I might only end up running for 500M, then walk the other 4,500M.  Who wants to join me?

Kathy is going and she is walking.

I can't run the full 5k as my cardio fitness is not quite back post surgery.  So, my strategy is to run 2 minutes, walk a minute, run 2 minutes, walk a minute.  Rinse, repeat.  I did the 11 mile Tough Mudder using that strategy.

That sounds like a challenge I can handle.  I'll see if I can drag a few friends out too.

Many thanks to JB for coming out today for the run, and for running with me.

He was worried about being able to run a 5k but he talked all the way through it and could put up with my run / walk approach, so he's in better shape than he thinks!
