Title: 1980 Civic CVCC $900
Post by: Eric on September 17, 2017, 01:38:24 PM
Some of you may have seen this run at PE5 where it placed a respectable 53/72 in PAX.  Buy it because it's a fun little car.  Buy it because I need it out of my driveway.  With original size wheels and some new rubber you will be able to haul 3 clowns on course in addition to the driver.

I loved seeing that car out there. If it made any sense at all, I would own that thing. Good luck with the sale.

THis is a very cool car.  If I had space, I'd be all over it.

Let me know quick Alan if you're serious.  Have someone making plans to visit this week from Marysville.  I'd prefer to keep it w/in OVR if possible.

Andrew pointed me at a source for info on a J series swap. As fun as the K would be... a 210+horsepower V6 for $500? Hell yes please!

This may be fun to watch.  Glad it's staying in the OVR family

Can co-sign this. Courtney's something special when it comes to Alan's hare-brained, I mean awesome, automotive schemes. It must have helped that he took that stupid loud exhaust off the FRS...

Trust me, I'm already paying for this one and will be for the foreseeable future. She's no dummy. This was a calculated move by her. I'm pretty much on the hook for anything she wants to buy or anything she wants me to do for the next year.

Sushi roll made it home safe and sound. Drives pretty darn well for a 37 year old car! Surprisingly peppy

Any special plans for it or just keeping it right beyond stock?

Short term, we'll see what time and funds permit, but long term I'd like to do a swap, cage it and make it a track car.

I met Courtney for the first time tonight.  She is quite saintly.  She was "almost" smiling as much as Alan when they returned from their test drive.

Lol. Four so far (2 still regularly auto crossed) and possibly another one this fall. It is a little bittersweet. I'm sentimental about my cars and usually miss them when they are gone, but it is always nice to see them in good hands and I often try to negotiate codrive privileges and future right of first refusal if/when they decide to sell.
