I need to change out the bushings in my lower control arm and have both removed from the car, I just need someone to press the old ones out and the new ones in. Unfortunately most of the shop around me say they won't do it unless I bring the car in. Does anyone know of any shops near Columbus that would swap them out if I just bring them the parts instead of the entire car?

I have to get the car done by next weekend, so if I can't find someplace I'm going to have to try to rig something up...

Call Brian Hoover at Autobody Specialists in Grandview - 299-5551. At this point you probably won't reach him until Monday AM.

I've got a 12 ton floor press in my garage you're welcome to come by and use if you want. I got it a few years ago just for this kind of thing and have used it a few times with good success. I'll be around until Wednesday, when we're leaving on vacation.

That would be great if I could use yours Keith! I would really appreciate it. What times are best for you? I'm free anytime tomorrow. If tomorrow doesn't work, Monday or Tuesday evening would probably work for me as well.

Alan, shoot me an email if you want and we can work out the details. Tomorrow afternoon should work for me.

Just wanted to say thanks again to Keith who helped me swap out the bushings today! What I thought was going to a be a relatively painless and simple process turned into a 4 hour job and I really appreciate all the help. Thanks again Keith!

I also want to thank Kale for offering to let me use his press as well. Really appreciate everyone offering advice and help to a fellow member. OVR Rocks!
