Hi Rob! Looking forward to seeing you run with us!

My dads buddy had a MKI Rabbit for years, he lent it to my Dad for a few weeks while his car was in the shop and that thing was a little monster.  By that point the exhaust had rusted through and it was loud as hell, no power, but man could that thing be thrown around. Fun little car.

Hey, new here. In Scioto county, I'll be moving to Toledo this summer and in Columbus regularly. I have a 99 Honda BB6. I'll be doing the autocross.

This board seems pretty dead?? I was excited to finally find something in Ohio.

Hey 'Bump!

Welcome.  The Board tends to die down around the holidays and doesn't pick up much until about a month or so before the first event.   Once the weather starts to break, the bears begin to come out of hibernation and we get all the "when is the first event?" and "OMG I HAVE TO GET MY CAR READY!" posts.

At that point, I usually start to poke fun at Brian and Kale and ZB, and that tends to get things stirred up and the activity picks up.

Post up a photo of your Civic.  What have you all done to it?  I've spent a fair amount of time in EF hatches, so have some familiarity with cars like yours.

Wasn't there a club down along the river somewhere that ran at an airport?

Hey!

Yeah, there is still a club but due to changing regulations at the airport there is now nowhere to run. Currently in a search for a new location down here.

Actually my car is a Prelude type SH. The SH has the atts system which essentially functions as an electronically controlled differential to divert power to the outside wheel. Really other than a few bokt ons, it's moderately stock. Koni yellow neuspeeds and neuspeed springs. Front and rear sway bars with a 4 point harness in the rear. Despite being an absolute turd in the engine department it's pretty fun despite its weight.

It's seen track time at Mid-O but I've yet to be on an autox course with it. I'm new to this autox thing but that is the specific thing I am here to get involved in.

Sorry about the image, I don't really have many pictures of it.

Nice. I like those cars.  I think that car runs in the STS class, but don't worry about it as we can guide you when you show up.  Stay tuned here for the schedule announcements.

Speaking of schedule announcements.............. It's getting close to the end of February.  Any word on the schedule?  I sure hope someone makes good contact with OSU before some other club beats us to it.

Browncoat3000 = Todd Jacob

I'm a total novice currently driving a '16 Civic turbo, very red.

I'm a huge scifi fan, the screen name comes from Joss Whedon's Firefly and MYstery Science Theater 3000, two of my favorite shows. I use it all over various games, forums, my blog and YouTube.

My car is taking on a Starwars theme, so I ran as Red 5 in my first event.  Grin

Welcome from a fellow Browncoat. Watched the (way too short) season of Firefly again with my wife last month, and just watched "Serenity" again last night.

Just logging in for my first post. Its been a while since I have been on a forum with the rise of social media. I miss the forum days to be honest!

I'm from Columbus, Oh and I drive a G35 that is driven for PTSD Awareness among the veteran community. I made a few events last year, more the year before but I have a membership this year so I hope to make it to quite a few events.

Hey guys, my name is Michael Lilly. I've been a lurker for a few years now, and this year I finally pulled the trigger and actually participated instead of watching!

I'm currently driving a black 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe #98. I was at this past weekend's event and enjoyed it quite a bit, so I fully joined the club a couple of days ago. I look forward to doing as many events this year as I can!

I run the 1993 Thunderbird when it runs.  Hopefully I have all of the kinks worked out for tomorrow.

I've been there quite a few times so far.  The car seems to holding up though a better transmission is in order.  At least it sounds pretty good when it's running.

Royce,

Welcome to the Forum!

Finding a nice older Impreza can be a challenge.  There are a few folks on the board here that are into these, particularly the Rallycross folks.  Check with ZB Lorenc, Sigma Auto Tec, as he does a lot of Subaru work.  Same with Sean Butt at The Northend Wrench as he is always buying and flippling Subaru's.
