Someone I know asked me if I knew of any VW upholstery experts in Columbus, or even Ohio. I don't.

He is restoring a Karmen Ghia.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

I don't know a specialist but two guys that will know are Mark and Dave and the Northend Wrench, 263-4978.  Both are certified VW nuts and they have at least a couple Karmann Ghia's they regularly service.

I have two big heavy 'Murican race cars. Must be an old guy thing.

TriTex Upholstery on Holly Ave in Grandview. They even have an in-house K-Ghia that was restored as a demo.

And oh yeah, the wife works there. 👍

Bruno

edit: another source for info would be MotoKars on King Ave in Grandview as well. They specialize in VWs old and new (only guys I will let tune on my '66 VW dune buggy). Ask for Sean or Mike. They may steer you to TriTex or might know of another local stitcher.
