Don't panic. We are still working on this new site, but it should work by this weekend. I asked Santa, he told me that he has NOTHING to do with this whole thing, we are on our own. If something doesn't want to work for you, please let me know here. This forum is still moderated, so please email your curses regarding the new site to ax@dzsoo.com in case you want to feel better. I will listen, honestly. Zsolt

Question about the new site. How do we see season standings for each series?

Any reason why the rookies summary isn't correct for autocross for this season? On the finals sheet, no one is even listed, and I see it was there last year. On the other totals sheet, only 2 people were listed in the rookies summary, but I know for a fact there were more than 2 rookies this year, at least 3 since I'm a rookie and wasn't listed. It is just the only chance for me to be competitive. Thanks!

I don’t think the yearly points events have the correct number of drops/required events. My suspicion is that the yearly rookie points didn’t get run at all.

Looks like we may have had some issues between MotorSportsReg and AxWare. It appears the rookie status may not have been imported for anyone all year long. The two who are marked as rookies were likely walk-ups who happens to get that info entered in that day. Looks like the only fix will be going through MSR and finding all the rookies that way... will try to knock that out this week... but it’s gonna be a bit of pain

How do you determine who the rookies were? Tami and I were technically rookies this season but I'm not sure you mean in that way. I'm guessing you mean rookies in a certain class.

Rookies are defined as anyone with less than 3 events over the past 5 years (I think.. it’s 5 might be wrong). Basically if you check a Box on MSR you get entered into our “membership” file for the season as a rookie. So for all those events in which you participate you get your points counted towards the novice championship, so it’s not a specific class per se. For some reason this didn’t transfer over to the membership file, so I went through MSR and manually updated the membership file. Tami should checkout the Roomies section of the results The only criticism I have with the way we do novices is that points are calculated based on how you do against other in your regular class, not how you do against everybody else in the novice class. Feel like it would be better if it was PAX based

Novice should be straight raw time, otherwise you get a bunch of people screwed by SP/SM etc PAX

That makes even less sense. Two novices come out. One has a HS car with all seasons, the other a SMS car, you’re saying that’s a fair matchup?

Tami should checkout the Rookies section of the results She liked that too. Now Simi just has to chase her down on Facebook and make sure that she continues to learn to drive the new Subie. She's making progress. She managed to do a four wheel burn out on Saturday (not intentionally unfortunately).

That makes even less sense. Two novices come out. One has a HS car with all seasons, the other a SMS car, you’re saying that’s a fair matchup? As close as anything when you are talking about novices. The only thing that even slightly matters is the tire, otherwise the modifications are rarely going to result in an advantage on course.
