Track Night is a program that is run by SCCA at the national level, and isn't associated with regions... last i'd heard Mid Ohio won't entertain the track rental prices required to make it lucrative for SCCA national office to pursue it at Mid Ohio
All that said, there is a need for someone in the OVR region to step up and help be the planner and feet on the ground and logistics person for the PDX that OVR normally hosts. If anyone is interested and would like to chat more about it, please feel free to reach out to me or Matt Downing.. if we don't get someone it's possible OVR doesn't host the PDX this year, I'd do it but we won't be in town when the PDX is to be held.

I'm generally interested in helping but I'm not sure where to start and I'm not all that well known to the members of the region. It would certainly be worth my time though.

Simi, it sounds like you may have some insight as to when the PDX will be, if it in fact happens?

historically always in conjunction with the OVR October Race which is: Saturday, October 13, 2018 - 2018 OVR Autumn Classic XXXVII
So one can unofficially plan it'll be that Friday
I have heard several road racers have stepped in since the banquet to help facilitate the event, but help will still be needed so I'll be in touch with those who offered; we'll probably have an early summer planning meeting.
