I don't personally know the details but any of you who have been around OVR for a while know the Uckers and their involvement locally and nationally in autocross.

I just found out via social media that sadly and unexpectedly Mike passed away.

Please keep Brenda and their sons in your thoughts.

Mike and Brenda were institutions in the OVR program with their CP Mustang, back when we ran OSU and Cooper Stadium.  I don't know if his name's on the Cup, but it should be.  Brian Hoover co-drove the Mustang with Mike, and they were dominant locally and in the old CenDiv, and a threat at the Nationals every year.   I think Mike's best was 2nd or 3rd in an always deep CP field.

For the past several years, he's run Appearance Automotive in Grandview, while raising their young family.  I stopped by the shop last summer for a visit, and that was the last I talked to him.

Thoughts and prayers to Brenda and the family.

Godspeed, my friend.

I have two big heavy 'Murican race cars. Must be an old guy thing.
