Despite Ohio's best efforts to keep us down, it's time for PE1! Register early, and register often to come out, drive fast, and have fun with cars!

There's a small chance I might be able to bring out the Mustang race car for a shakedown.

How many walkups are allowed these days?  It will be kind of a last minute thing.

We'll be there.  As many of you are already aware I'll be driving the WRX from now on.  The T-Bird met it's end at the UFO/MORPCA event over the weekend.  Wish me luck.

I'll just post a pic.  We'll call it the result of a bad choice and bad luck and leave it at that.

Inevitable when playing with cars, but still sucks big time.
I will say you guys have seen an inordinate amount of corvette's going into cars since you've started running, it wasn't a thing before last year Sad  Cry

My consistent run of bad luck in life is one of the reasons I don't play the lottery.  In this case I attracted the Corvette because I spent half the morning talking to the owner and admiring the car.  I even commented that I preferred the notch back window design of that particular model.

Well, I already have the cool and fun part mostly addressed since I'll co-drive the WRX with Tami.

I just have to figure out what I'm doing with the bird and then I'll make my plans for the next ride.

I's not showing the event as open for registration under the "events" tab.  Maybe that would help, especially for those who don't read the forum.

I reached out to our website administrator about adding the link a few days ago and haven't heard back from him yet. In the future, I'll probably just have a link on the OVR site that takes people to OVR Solo's Motorsportreg page with all open events instead of having a separate links on the OVR site for each event that need posted. Its much, much easier and quicker to update MSR than the website.

As already stated, the lack of a registration link on the main site is causing confusion and not having the future events with the registration link is also potentially limiting you.

I LOVED this course! Looked like it would be slow during the course walk but I was pumped to be able to go flat out in surprising spots. Thanks to everyone who put forth time and effort today, especially putting the barrels back. Theyíre icky but the powers that be at Natl Trails require they go back so we have to do it. Great weather and a great event Smiley

It was a very fun course that rewarded a bit of patience in a couple of key places. It was great to see everyone today.

Rear traction is the Achilles heel of the car.  It is great on concrete where you can get traction, but you give it up on asphalt, especially with slower corners given the tall 2nd gear.

If I didn't tell you to run with a full tank, run with a full tank!

FYI, for the PAX'd classes, the times show up as the raw times, so a little strange to see how (taking PAX classe for example) Ryan's 40.389s ranks him higher than Justin's 40.315. Maybe it's just badly cropped and isn't showing at all the calculated PAX times that are used to rank the class.

Same thing in SF, SR, and SA

http://ovr-scca.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/PE_1_Final_Results-1.pdf

Also, for the overall PAX sheet, under timing, it should be the RAW times under the "total time" column. Right now, the total time column shows the already-calculated PAX time from the "pax time" column.

It also looks like the "from first" column is showing relative to first in class, not first in overall pax.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Iíll check, but I donít think I have control over those columns or the values in them. Itís just an option in Axware to generate the report, and it looks like they re-did the reporting. Might just be a bug in the software
