We get questions on the forum time to time if we know someone who does this or that kind of service.  I know there are mechanics, shop  owners, computer guys, lawn care business owners, and who knows what else among our members.  I know many of us would rather order a service or buy a product from our 'extended family' than just get it from someone from yellow pages.

I start this topic to have a place to introduce your small business operation - this place is for the shameless self advertisements for businesses of the OVR members.

There are a few rules:
- You have to be an OVR member, ex-member or someone who plays with us.
- If you are not a member but you are representing a business what is a sponsor of OVR then you are welcome to write an ad here
- It should be your business or a business owned by your family member
- Please do not advertise a business in which you or your family member doesn't have ownership even if you think that is a great business. Don't write an ad for someone else, if the owner is a member ask him to come here and see if he wants to do it.
- You can add more than one kind of business ad in separate messages
- Please do not repeat the same ad. Try to modify the post if something has been changed
- Don't insert huge photos / pdf files. Try to keep it simple and in a reasonable size. Small banners or graphics are OK.
- Add business name, profile, services, product, phone, email, address, link to homepage or whatever you think is important
- You don't have to have an official business to write here, but if you put an ad here please be sure you state only what you can really do.
- If you are looking for a service, please don't use this topic. It is for service providers. I will remove unrelated discussions from here to keep the topic clean
- If you think an ad is phoney, please let me know

Aaron Ritch

I have a decades worth of experience in commercial and residential design.

Started doing hotels, warehouses, shops, etc. and moved into high end custom homes. Currently I am the VP of Design for Romanelli & Hughes Building Company. ( www.rh-homes.com) I meet with clients interested in just about anything, and make what they want work. We take peoples ideas and make them a reality. I do the architectural design, structural design, site design, zoning, landscaping, etc.

I've also done several projects on my own time for people who've wanted home additions and remodels. Not every house needs to be 6,000 sq feet, so I'm happy to help with the smaller projects if anyone is interested in such a service. aaron DOT ritch @ gmail DOT com

Thank you for your time

I work for a Prometric Testing facility; Proctoring, paper pushing and enforcing rules. Nothing that I can really do to help out if you have a test, but if you come up this way I'll be sure to give you the 'easy test.'

Im currently attending Miami University and working towards a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. So if anyone out there has a job opening, I'm very good with CAD and have a good deal of hands on knowledge, please let me know!  Grin

I deal generally with hardware/software problems that most daily users in homes and offices encounter.  I've been working on systems for 10+ years and did IT phone support for Nationwide, IBM, and Abbot & Ross labs prior.  I actually work for another company that is not mine, but offer the same service to friends and family.  I usually offer roughly 1/2 normal company rates and can do barter / trade for automotive labor or parts if the right opportunity presents itself.

My company is Advisory and Consulting Services, LLC.   Founded in 2012, we help clients build muscle in their organizations by connecting them with the talent needed to grow and succeed.

Sometimes, this is help securing a full time employee for a critical position.  Other times, it's a consultant with specific expertise to get a project done.  And sometimes, we act as an extension of the client's internal talent acquisition team to extend their capability and capacity.

Our typical client tells us they partner with us because we save them significant effort and money in the hiring process by understanding needs up front to provide candidates that hit the mark - no more shuffling through stacks of resumes.

If you are a hiring manager struggling to find the right talent, or an individual looking for the next step in their career, I'd love to meet over coffee and see if it makes sense to work together.
