The silly season is fast approaching and those of use addicted to this sport will need to look for other avenues to get our fix. Every winter I race with a few folks every Saturday on Xbox live. Great group of guys with some really clean racing. We've been doing it since Forza 2 and play with all the realism settings ON. If you have an Xbox 360, a copy of Forza 3 and an Xbox live gold account, feel free to come join us:

http://forums.evolutionm.net/gaming-forum/515306-winter-2010-spring-2011-forza-3-league.html

We have a few rules and info listed in the thread above. Hope some of you can join us.

I've been trying to beat Forza 3 for going on a year now... it is a LONG game..   I'd do it for sure, but my 360 is cracked and I'd likely get banned quick if I had a live account...    Sad  I love playing it though..   got a whole rig with racing seat, wheel, bass shakers and the works.

I was all set to start iRacing, but now I've gotta wonder...

It'd be a shame to have a big horsepower tower that languishes while I spend on an Xbox but it's tempting...

Hey guys,
I too have a decent setup at home with a racing seat, wheel etc. Plus Xbox 360s have gotten cheap. You guys could easily get a 2nd 360 for Xbox live purposes on Craigslist while keeping the other one for playing backups.  Wink .... We have a very dedicated fun group of guys that never miss a beat (you can probably tell from the amount of updates the other thread gets) and we've implemented a power handicap system this year to make it fun for noobs and give them a fighting chance. So feel free to join us if you can, its a great way to keep your skills sharp during the silly season.

I am considering getting a 2nd box.  I'd have to get a regular copy of Forza 3 still and a membership.. Just wondering, but what is the membership fee for X-box Live?

I've seen deals online for an Xbox live 12 month gold card membership for $30 - $35 from time to time. If you try to do it through the console its a bit more expensive $45/year I believe.

Hrm.. ok.. I'll have to check into it some more..  I swear I've recently seen core refurbished 360's for 100 bucks.
